Some things take longer to come to completion, and most often I find that it's worth it. This bolo sat on my bench for months just waiting for the last of the spark to finish her out.
Originally the giant Peruvian Opal was paired with smaller turquoise pieces, but it never seemed right.
Then came the pearls.
And ohhh the pearls are what completed it, but the textures and depth demand that you keep looking
This piece is for the one whose soul belongs with the ocean. I see the opal sitting right over her heart, connecting her to her source of peace even when she may not be able to make it there physically.
Peruvian opal is said to lower stress and heighten tranquility, pearls symbolize inner wisdom, and the shark tooth is an excellent source of grounding protection
